Fish are Flashing, Scraping and Head Shaking

Talk about a week, one of my 125 leaked, powerhead causes me to get shocked about 8 times.

Just like the title says, does anyone know what this could be? Started out with one or two fish and has spread to 3 tanks. Greatly appreciate your help. Will add salt tonight to aquariums.

i recently had this problem with my yellow perch, they would randomly shake their head side to side rapidly and almost get spooked, they would dash short distances and i even caught them flashing against the drift wood. i still have idea what caused it or why they were doing it but eventually they stopped, i think it might have been something in the water they didnt like at all but im not one to say since i never got a proper diagnosis

No changes at all. Nothing visible clinging to them. Whatever it is I guess it can be contagious. I have a 10 gallon with no problems. The scraping against things seems more prevalent in the catfish(12in), one bluegill(7in) and a large cichlid(8in.)

i had this same problem i found that i might have been changing to much water i went from 25% changes every week to 25% every 2 weeks and and fish and the tank is more stable now
