my fish have ich so i bought some ich gaurd and now there trying to get out of the side of the tank. i add some aquarium salt also cuz ive changed the water twice without adding any. is the salt making them want to get out the sides or is it just the ich gaurd? im still not to shur on how to work this frum yet so pm me please.

You should also bump up the temp, if you have carbon in your filter then i suggest turning off the filter.

as per other responses remove carbon, water changes , add salt and i find increasing the temp to 28c. the few times i have had the ich problem i found wardley Promethyasul the best cure. 1 dose and the ich is gone.
don't turn off filter just take the carbon out, do a 35 percent water change every other day, don't use the medicine you have added it might be stressing the fish out. like people said bump the temp to 84 and added twice the salt that is recommended, this will fix your problem hopefully it is not to latephobull;3808242; said:You should also bump up the temp, if you have carbon in your filter then i suggest turning off the filter.

Definetely keep filters running shutting them off would be nuts. Raising the temperature slowly to between 84 to 86 for several days should work. Of course that makes it even more important to have the filters running for water agitation. If you dont have much aeration already definetely add a bubble wand or something because at that temperature the water will hold much less oxygen.
