Fish are weird...

So a bunch of you know i have a psycho serial killer texas/FH fish and she has not tolerated any of her past tank mates(RIP) so i buy a spot face pike(not sure of sex) they brawl for like 4 days straight front faces all cut up but nobody's fins are hurt so i let it go and it's been a month, both are fully healed, looking good and out of the hole 6 feet of tank and 2 large drift wood they sleep near each other every night on the same side and no longer fight(although the pike does get chased now and then)

anyways just thought this was ridiculous seeing as i buy her a larger midas male to bread with and she kills it but gets great with the pike.... she still tries to murder the pleco all the time too, so i don't know what to make of this, I'm just happy it worked out...

Funny.. my BP's used to only be aggressive with each other when the lights went out.. so for a long time I always left one light on... but now they are fine with the lights out.. Silly!

they dont look similare to each other and the pike doesnt alow the bullyin...

i thought it might have something to do with the pike's shape.... sounds good!! imma test this hypothesis hopefully with a jaguar male if i can come across a good size one
