Fish attack. Who did it please help

I woke up this morning to my baby payara having a nasty wound underneath him. I have 10" sveni pike and a 14" florida gar. Both have teeth. I've seen the sveni snap feeders in half and I know what the gars teeth can do.
I missed a day of feeding do to a personal matter outside the house how ever this cannot be happening and somebody has to go. I can't really get a solid picture of his other side right now but it's almost equal.
And any recommendations on medicine to help save him from dieing and heal the wound
And who may have done this

I thought maybe the same thing. The only reason I'd think other wise is the size of his mouth is huge. But is seemingly territorial

Maybe the pike cichlid. I’d expect the gar to have some more puncture marks. Would separate and provide clean water and salt 1 tsp per g.

Could have been either of them, no way for us to know really. You could set up a camera and watch to see how they interact when your not in front of the tank.

I just didn't know if somebody has had a similar situation where they were able to see the damage of one of their bites and if it looked similar
