Fish attractors

How could you build fish attractors? Way too costly to buy a $30 porcupine fish attractor when you could use anything, just need some ideas plz.

After Christmas, go around collecting Christmas trees. Let them dry to the point that the needles drop off. You will need to weight them down. What I did in the past was to collect large containers, put a tree trunk in one, and then fill it with concrete. It makes their placement really easy when you don't have to tie on bricks while on the boat.

i would agree but i would just tie a cement block to it and chunk it in
