Fish Burbs???

I have a ram in my discus tank the water is at 89F I'm going to bring it back down. I bring the temp up when I add a new fish.

But the weird thing I have never seen before is my Fish looks like its burping? It will let out one air bubble from time to time. What is this? Does it have to do with the temp?

no it has nothing to do with the temp.

its just burping, probably from air swallowed during feeding.

in the future you probably shouldn't raise the temp. up that high when adding new fish.

what you should do is get a small quarentine tank instead and isolate the new fish for a week or two before adding. that will be much less stressful than jacking up the temp on your main tank.

That's so weird. It's my discus tank and they love the extra warm water. I don't bring the temp up in my other tanks just for new discus.
