My ornate bichir can't keep the back half of her body down, it just keeps floating up, what could have caused this?

Can you please post these information so we can better evaluate and diagnose/advise what the problem is, and how to solve it?

Just copy and past the text below into a new post. If you don't know the answer to something, just put a question mark (?).
-Water Test Readings:
-Ammonia=
-NitrIte=
-NitrAte=
-pH=
-KH=
-GH=
-Water Temperature:
-Tank size=
-Filtration (Make, and GPH)
-Is there gravel/sand/rocks in the tank? If so how deep?
-Tank Inhabitants (How many, how big?):
-How long the tank has been set up:
-Frequency and amount of routine water changes:
-What you feed them, how much, & how often:
-City or well water:
-Water conditioner used:
-any extras (i.e.; air pumps, and air stones?)
-New fish or plants added to the tank? What type and when? Were they quarantined?:
-Medications used:
-Describe the problems you are seeing:

Was the fish transported, moved from another tank, recently?

gas?

when i bout my rope fish there was a couple doing the same thing and keep floating too the top and couldnt stay down what i found might be some off the problems where swim bladder infection, gas, constipation,i just kinda let them fast for about a day or so and they quickly recoverd, thawed frozen peas work for it to it acts as a laxitive...good luck.

ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5. Has been in the tank for months, Had a big feeding two days ago, I'm hoping its just a gas bubble because its just the back half of her body, but I wanted to see what other possibilities were.

If it doesn't go away it is likely a swim bladder issue. Feeding peas can help.
