does anybody use koi chow along with other pellets to get more for your dollar?i already feed hikari gold but am thinking i might mix up a batch of hikari gold, hikari staple, and koi pellets. i also feed worms and market shrimp and am going to try stuffing pellets into the shrimp for the more picky eaters.

I haven't tried it but I know some people that have used it. I believe there's a few people on this board that do as well. I usually use Tetracolor pellets w/ squid, mussells, shrimp, and fish fillets.
hikari is the best bang for your buck imo...never tried the koi pellets, but have noticed signifgant growth/better color with hikari
