Fish Collection at Night

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
one of your videos had some really great hiding places within the tank. i'm watching a shark documentary on australian coastal sharks. they were just showing white tips hunting at night. they hunt sleeping fish. they said that fish sleep by shutting off the video signal to the brain at night, since they don't have eyelids and can't close their eyes. the question of, "do fish sleep or not", came up in a recent thread on this site, just a few days ago.

Good stuff,I like to observe my catfish in total dark except for the flashlight that I use.It almost seems like looking at a totally different tank.

I normally have to check on them at night when they are out, to see if there are any visible wounds, or diseases, ect.
Very cool to watch the tanks at night... I only wish I would have been able to get the Zebra Knife in the Video.

Yeah you kinda beat me to it,I was going to start a thread to see if other members viewed their fish this way.
