Got around to measuring alot of my growouts in my collection (13 fish...) of course these are only a few fish compared to all the ones i own... The 210 gallon fish are gonna be measured next! Not to excited to catch a 18+ inch thrashing clown knife though... Or an overly jumpy ID shark xD anyways, here are some shots from todays measuring:

Nice lil guys, im not a fan of taking fish out just to measure. Seems like a lot of not needed stress on the animal, rather just wait for it to be right up against the glass

I really really wouldn't take the bigger fish out just to measure next to a ruler so you can post a pic on here lol. Moving big fish is a pain and they can hurt themselves VERY easily. Especially if you wait for them to stop flopping around to get a clear pic

Seems cruel an educated guess will do leave the fish in the water .........

Well... An educated guess will not work for a oscar that will be moved to a 210 gallon soon. A couple inches could be the difference between life and death in a tank full of monsters... And i am documenting the growth rate on the rest... Alot of people like TlKmDn measure fish. Heck, he takes giant fish outta a 13,000 gallon pond just to measure them! You are entitled to your opinion though...
