Fish Compatibility: Flag fish, Inverts

20 gallon tank
medium planted

will florida flag fish eat inverts? two i am thinking of getting are white snowball shrimp and red cherry shrimp.

which invert would you recommend?

Yes they will eat them.

Maybe give some larger ghost shrimp a try.

Oops...At a first glance, I thought it was the prochilodus.lol Flagfish will work with MTS and possibly nerites.

Now all I have to worry about is my betta.
I think he'll make a snack out of the snowballs real quick.

It will not work in most cases. Bettas will only harass them further and nip the antennaes and eyes out. He has snowball shrimps so he'll have to get rid of his betta unless he is lucky his betta is lazy to nip.
