Hey all,

I have discovered the fun of cichlids. Now I have a convict in a 20 gal. Its only 1 inch at the moment but has settled well. I was thinking of getting a baby green terror as they are pretty small at my LFS. I know the greenies are very aggressive and grow pretty large but I am planning on getting a 100 gal long tank in the next 4 months.

The 100 gal will be 6 feet long and will be stocked with 5 Bala sharks and a black knife ghost. Tons of drift wood and all sorts of plants and sand substrate.

Im wondering if I could put the green terror in there. Granted I am hoping to get the balas a little larger than the terror, and the BKG. Once grown will the terror harass the crap outta the other fish, even the school of balas? I am not 100% sure as it wont just be a single fish in the tank, or does it not matter?

1. Buy the bigger tank.
2. Establish stocking list for big tank.
3. Buy big fish to go into your new big tank.

Don't get your steps out of order ;)

Shix happens. You don't want to have a full grown FT in a 10 gallon because something came up and you couldn't get the 100g.
