So I'm looking at acquiring a tank in the 55-75 gallon range ( yeah I know that a pretty decent range). I'm looking to either get a pair or trio of buffalo head cichlids. I'm not that big into African cichlids so I would prefer not to keep other Africans. I would like to go a different route and possibly have these other fish in the tank.

And then a few other odds and ends maybe a few smaller peaceful cichlids or basic fish. This is a tank setup I've wanted to do a nice community tank but I did it a little half a before in my 90 gallon. Looking maybe to have live plants but will have plenty of rocks and caves for the buffaloes. I know I'm spit balling here so some of this might be completely unobtainable. Any help or suggestions would be nice.
