What American Cichlids are compatible with a Blood Parrot and Tiger Barbs?

What's your tank size before I make any reccomendations?

Nice that's a great tank size lots of options! I would personally go with mellower cichlids what all do you have in the tank,currently I would look into severums, blue acaras, chocolate cichlids and you could do lots of different catfish like pictus cats, synodontis cats or even large plecos

Already have two Severum and a Pleco. Couldn't be happier with them.

I would add a chocolate cichlid and a lot of catfish on the bottom and you can always use more tiger barbs

I had eight barbs. Either the Parrot or bad water quality happened to them. I'm left with the five largest barbs. For bottom feeders I currently have four 1" cories, one 4 1/2" Featherfin Catfish, and the 6" Pleco.

Would a Vieja Synspilum work with the set up? I really like the color.

I would honestly add a lot more tiger barbs like 10 more and honestly I don't have a lot of experience with viejas.

I'm worried about if they would die again. I'm assuming since it was the smaller ones, the Parrot killed them.
