Fish covered with sand?

So I switched to sand yesterday and I am very happy about it becaus it looks really good. However some of my catfish have sand on them and it seems like its stuck on them. Is this ok? Will it come off eventually or what should I do?

Its okay and i believe that it will come off if it is rubbed off. Or else it won't really come off. If they freak out or something the sand will come off. The sand sticks to the slime coat so it is stuck and they are slow moving fish so most of it won't come off until the fish freaks out or moves really fast. It is okay however.

its perfectly fine. even my oscars get sand on them but it always comes off eventually. my two cats always have sand on them from digging.

did you use silica sand?
works the best wont stick

It will eventually fall off. They are okay.
