fish dead in plants?

anyone ever had a fish get trapped in a plant and then die?

I found a molly like this. but i'm not sure if it ended up there before or after its death.

Just wondering if these types of things happen to fish.

I think that most likely it died before getting stuck in the plants.

Yep, it died in the plants. When they are sick or weak, they often seek out a safe place so they can conserve energy. You will often find dead fish in a hiding place, but this does not mean the hiding place killed the fish.
