I was wondering what some of the stances on decorations/ hiding spots in the fishtank are. I recently got a sperata acicularis and he hides alot. They also have one of these same fish in a show tank in the store that has no decor and the fish is doing fantastic. Very outgoing fish and the tank is filled with armatus at that.
I'd feel more comfortable being able to monitor the eating habits of the fish a little more. As of now I'm pretty sure the fish is eating every day but I'm not positive. The fish doesnt come out of the cave to eat as of now but I'm pretty sure he is eating whatever is going in there (feeders or tilapia) because I have seen him come out with a fat full stomach
