okay as title says i had ich on fish and the fish died got the fish out asi saw it dead !!

What size is this tank and what fish died? Any survivors left? Does the dead fish actually have white spots when it was alive? You do not need to clean it all over again if it is ich. Ich cannot survive without hosts for more than 48 hours.
Do a 85 or 100% water change, idk how big your tank is so idk how much water you want to take out. Clean out your substrate cause theyre probably in there now. And treat your system with a ick medicine. Let your tank run without any charcoal so the ick stuff works and do that for a few days just to make sure. Plus raise the temperture of the tank water. That will increase the metabolism of the ick parasite and theyll die quicker.

If there are no fish left I would suggest raising the water temp to 90+ for 3 or more days, let it cool down to a normal temp and start over.
my jd is in another tank now teh ich went away with him !!

HOT water should work. Also get some aquarium salt and use as directed. I used it in all of my tanks and i saw a major improvement in the quality of life of my fish.
