i dont have my tank with me at my apt its at my parents. I have my dad do a 50% water chang every sunday. but my angle fish died then 2 days later my clown pleco is dead then my gourami is dead :cry:every one else is ok no dead and my dad said no one was chewed up or acting weird and he tested the water and it was fine what could be going on:nilly::nilly::nilly:

That used to happen to my uncle. He's in the saltwater business and cleans tanks for hospitals and hotels and what not. Early on in his carrier a lot of the fish would die when he'd clean them. It ended up being that when he'd put his arm into the tank to clean, the mercury from his watch would get into the water and poison the fish.

I'm not saying your dad did that, but little things like that can always cause havok if you're not too careful... Believe me, I know this from experience.

but u would think something like that would afect my smaller fish frist

Are you sure your dad is putting in water conditioner? I know a friend whose mom forgot to put it in once, and she lost several fish over a week's time because of it. Also, is your dad rinsing his hands well before putting them in the tank to remove any soap or lotion?

yes he is puting conditioner in he knows what he is doing he got me in 2 keeping fish

i'll give him a call and make sure he is washing his hands and rincing them off good
