hey guys idk whats up with my serpae tetras. a while ago i lost a pleco to existing nitrites. they are now down to 0. but now my serpae tetras are acting weird. one of them is swimming like hes gonna die any minute. and the rest are all inactive. my temperature was 85 degrees(i get hot summers here). could that be causing it? i put a fan on top of the tank and the temp is down to 80(still dropping). when the nitrites were present, the serpaes didnt show any problems with it. now that its gone, they are doing this. im assuming the heat is doing it to them.
btw the one thats acting like hes gonna die has bad fin nips on him.
