I have 2 haplochromis burtoni that i'm trying to breed. And i thought it was wierd Because the female is bigger and fatter than the male. And when i feed them the female eats more than the male. Does anyone know why?

if they're a breeding pair the female is probably trying to store lots of nutrients before laying the eggs
