Fish Farts

OK, i know, you guys already KNOW I have the worlds most embarassing pets, but my Dojo Loach (named Mojo) farted this morning. I saw it. It really happened, it's not the first time. ???? WTF Do fish normally Fart? He kinda did the "Kitty about to barf wretch" first, then it happened, blub, blub, blub. (bubbles and all-the classic bathtub mishap....) I think I need not describe it any more.......

Is this normal?

lol mine fart all the time. So do the bichirs. Loaches swallow air from time to time, and absorb the oxygen through their guts. What isn't absorbed is farted out. Very funny

maybe it has the rocket effect, so it helps them accelerate??

not fish related but my ball python farted when i was soaking her in the tub last week. thought it was quite funny.
