I am treating my sa cichlid tank for ich, by raising the temperature and adding salt in slow increments. Yesterday I did a 100% WC, and got really good results. Today, only two of the fish even show signs of ich, and a little at that. However, I have noticed that their fins don't look too hot. My severums and oscars expecially are showing this. It seems like the fin is being eaten away, leaving only the hard rays. I do regular water changes 2-3 times a week on all my tanks, and ammonia, nitrite=0 nitrate really, really low. I don't believe it is fin rot. Can it perhaps be the salt? I am packing about 2 tsp per gallon right now. I'll post pics if I need to.

hello?

ok, dont worry. go back to ur normal water change schedule, it seems good.
fins normally grow back fully in a couple of weeks.
are they otherwise eating and appearing healthy?

It probably is the salt, those fish aren't adapted to live in water that salty, and they're probably showing it by having their fin membranes eaten away. I'd just keep the water clean and do regular changes to keep the risk of infection down. I'm sure they'll be fine...Not to knock your methods, but The only way I've treated ich in home tanks for years is to bump the temp up and do once or twice daily 50% changes w/ heavy gravel
