Ok, After a recent loss of all my fish I want to start new and get some monsters. I currently have a 55 gallon tank which is the largest I have. Now in a year of saving I can get a 125-180 gallon tank. What can I keep for a year or so in my 55 while I save the $2,000 or so i'll be making for the new tank and accesories?

the type of fish I would like are

-Pbass
-Silver Aros
-Black Aros
-Rays
-Dats
-TSN
-RTC
-TSN X RTC
-Clown Knifes
-Royal Clown Knifes
-Alligator Gar
-Shortnose Gar
-Needle Nose Gar
-Flowerhorn
-Jags

any ideas?

Thanks,
-Kevin

depending on where you look you can get bigger than 180's for $2000, well over, if your serious about keeping, any aro's, pbass, rtc's and clown knifes, than bump it up to a tank with a footprint of about 8'x30", and definetly cross of alligator gars. if you only get a 125, then you'll be able to get about 4 of those fish on the list.

I would go with a FH, jag, and 2 cons, all juvies then add them to the bigger tank later

I paid $1100 for a like new 210g AGA tank/stand/tops/powercompacts/overflows/2sumps. There are plenty of good deals to be had if you're just patient.
