Tank Filters: OASE Canister, Fluval C4 HOB and a Large Sponge Filter.
Ammonia: 0
Nitrate: 10-20
PH: Close to 7
Tested with API Liquid Test Kits.
Plants: Java Ferns, Hornworts, Water Lettuce, Marimo Moss Ball, Anubias, Photos.
I have a juvenile Snakehead fish in a 3 x 1.5 x 1.5 feet tank. The other occupants are tetras that are separated by a divider.
I noticed the snakehead flashing( He rubs only his gill areas on the sand and not his whole body), usually about 3-4 times. However i cant exactly tell how many times he does this per day. The tetras don't flash, and there are no white spots on them at all, no abnormal red gills flaps. Is it possible to rule out water quality, and determine its parasites? Or am i being paranoid?
