Fish float messed up?

I have a fish that floats to the surface like a bobber. The top of his back is above the water line in the tank. He has to fight to swim down and he then shoots back up to the surface. He isnt on his side but i guess thats because hes fighting hard with his fins to balance himself. So im guessing his float is messed up and theres no hope for him? Been like it for a few days now

Swim bladder issue? Get some meds for him. Never give up until he's belly up

bloat or possibly dropsy... does he look like a pinecone? either way its treatable.

a pinecone?! not he doesnt appear to look like that. hes just a baby green sunfish i caught so not all that invested in him
