hi, I have a 75g tank with one 2.5" JD, one 2" EBJD, a 3" common pleco, a 2" rainbow shark and 5 little black skirt tetras, there is a lot of aggression from the JD towards the EBJD. would getting a couple more ciclids help control the aggression and is so, what ciclids would you guys recommend. I don't want to push the limits of my 75g to far as these guys are gonna get big.

No added new fish will cause the jd to become more aggressive toward other cichlids. Give them more territories like stacked slate rocks to make caves and terra Cotta pots. The more territories they have close together the more tolerant they will become each other. I personally would remove the jd and get a blue gene or another ebjd. They tend to be less aggressive then regular jds.

think the JD will have to go :( from what I can tell, I think the EBJD is a female and the JD is a male. Are male Cichlids more aggressive to female cichlids?

It's possible for the ebjd to be female if so the male jd could be trying to get her attention. But if you haven't seen any mating displays I doubt that's the case.
