ok i just got a hundred gall like 1 month ago and it needs to be sealed but that besides the point but i was wondering what kind of fish should i get to put in it i was thinking mabey some ocars or like an oscar or a jd mabey if they go together

Oscars are cool. I prefer other CA Cichlids personally. My synspilum is prettier than an Oscar (IMO) has as much personality , and stays a little smaller.
I'm sure he'd do fine with an oscar too.
Birchirs, (polypterus) are awesome fish. Once you get one your hooked.
My 2 cents.....

JD's are nice, really almost any of the CA/SA cichlids would probably work well. You just have to match aggression levels.

You might want to try to get a pair , then you'll see some amazing parental care and can sell the babies. It's incredibly cool to watch Cichlids raising their young. If you do this though any other fish in the tank will be toast.

Exactly. If you want to pair them off yourself and not buy a matched pair , then usually you would get 5or6 small ones and once a couple pair off you remove the other fish. Otherwise the pair will kick the s**t out of them.

I think some monsters is just the ticket, but I have to say I have never had trouble finding fish to go in a tank. Quite the opposite in fact. LOL
