Will 4 5-8 inch severums be OK in a 100gal tank??
Can i have any tank mates in with them or will it be to full??
Would the be OK with a 2-3 inch breeding pair of convicts??
Also what SA/CA cichlids would be good??
Thanks.

yes, I think that should be fine..idk about the breeding pair of convicts though..convicts get REALLY aggressive while breeding, and although sevs are a lot bigger they're not nearly as aggressive and would get beat up...

IMO 4 severums is really pushing it for a 100 gal tank. You will have a lot of fighting, nevermind the bioload.

breeding pair of convicts?... you mean theres anouther kind?i would say it depends on your floor space. if you have a wide long tank as opposed to a tall tank i would say your ok. if you have a tall tank with a lot of water space i think youll encounter to many fights to have it be worth it.

MY tank is 48x18, so will they be ok?

They all grew up together and they are in the same size tank that mine is now, as the guy im getting them off is stopping the hobby. but there are two males and two females.

You should be OK with the Severums but forget the convicts, one you'll be overstocked and if those con's start breeding you will have some badly beaten up Sev's.

i think they will be just fine. my friend has a 110 tank with a breeding red devil and jaguar that has only killed one fish. so i dont think a couple of convicts are gonna do much they arent as big or as nasty.

cheers guys im gonna get the sevs and two little 1 inch cons and leave the breeding pair of cons.
