fish for a 29 gallon tank?

I have a spare 29 gallon now, what kind of monster fish can i put in there for a few months? heres my plan, i have fish in a 55 now, (nd the empty 29) ni about 5-6 months i plan on buying a 110-125 gallon for them, and using the 55 for whatever is in the 29 at the time. the water is cycled, clean, and ready for fish, just dont know what monster fish stay small... really dont know about anything but Bichir. i just want another kind of monster fish other than Bichir now.

get some datnoids they grow pretty slow even if bombared in feeding, thy wont grow out ur 29 and 55 in like a year or 2.

Charax are wannabe payaras that don't get over 6". Nice toothy little turds. You could keep like three of those in a 55 for life.
