Fish For Outdoor Pond CANADA

I do not have an outdoor pond nor am I planning on making one anytime. I am just curious. I see a lot of these youtubers from florida that have bass, red tail catfish, gars and all sorts of monster fish in their backyard ponds. I was wondering what kinds of fish can survive a pond in canada other then koi or goldfish all year long. i would love to have a back yard pond someday if i ever get the space. This year it has been probably one of the coldest winters compared to the past few years -15 to - 20+

I’d imagine natives would work fine since they are obviously cold hardy.

ive been thinking of a "small" outdoor pond to put my turtles out for the summer.
when i think small its something that would probably be close to freezing solid or close to it in the winter.
Any fish I add would probably have to come in for the winter, or ill have to look into how deep it would have to be to keep from freezing all the way through and how to get oxygen down there when the top is frozen over without draining alot of my time or hydro.
