As some of you might know i have a pond with a pacu and two iredescent sharks. i am growing out a smaller RTC after my bigger one died. But the pacu stays at one spot and theonly dang fish i see swimming are the two iredescents. i wanna know types of big fish that could go into my pond to create more activity

If you want activity then some of the larger barbs such as lemon fin or cigar. But you will need them decent size to avoid being eaten by the redtail as this will grow faster than any barb will. Another option is of course koi. Whilst not generally thought of, they make good activity options in ponds and grow well at the higher temperatures but you do need good filtration as they also add to the bio load. If you really want activity, try adding a black shark or two! Just be careful what you wish for!

i like the idea of the black sharks but i don't think i have seen any, at least adult ones. How do there juveniles look like, i might get confused with those rainbow sharks. BTW deadeye and others recommended not to put any barbs since they will get devoured once the RTC is big enough

You could go for one of these:

Flagtails should work and they are really pretty (to me).

Or you could do an arowana. Or peacock bass....or some other larger peaceful cichlids like severums. Maybe an Oscar or two?

i would love to, but RTC will eventually devour anything smaller than two feet
