People with experience in the hobby (ira, rapps,etc) have told me they are male and female by the way they interact with each other. Also online it's not a 100 percent thing but they say male and female will have different sized jaws which mine do. I would love to mate them but I just don't have a tank big enough to mate them in. That's why I am selling them for tank space.I'm in the bronx,ny
