fish freak out

Why cant i get good fish shots? My camera takes awesome pics but I cant get any good pictures. If I use my flash my fish start freaking out. and if I dont use a flash my shutter speep is real slow. I am really wanting to get some pictures so I can post updates. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

I use no flash, af and take TONS of shots and weed through to find the good ones. I'm a fan of manual focus too, but timing it can be tricky.

af should at least get the shot somehwhat in focus though.........try your settings.

From what it sounds like you have a point and shoot camera and shutter speed is determined on your flash..Place your finger over the flash that way shutter speed will be quike photo's wont be blury...

Thanks they are pigs. The kels don't want me to take their pictures. I am starting to see speckleing.
