IME the female hides them. Try looking at the female, she may be hovering over them else where in the tank.
Nope just the parents could they of been sucked into the filter?

I agree with cichliddave, after hatching the females usually sequester the fry in a hole somewhere until they become free swimming. And the newly hatched wrigglers are nearly invisible.
Although it is a possibility the parents ate them, especially if you went poking around searching, but i wouldn't be surprised if in a couple days a school of fry suddenly appear, if you just let it happen.
Then you will need to be ready to feed the fry.
