Fish gender?

Good day, folks. I am not a native english speaker, please bear with my horrible sentence construction and wording. Recently i bought a channa asiatica, seller told me that it's a RSP or sometims also known as channa red kalimaya. However, since the fish is only around 10-11 cm or around 4 inch, he said that he can't be sure if the fish is male or female, though he predicts that it's a male. For naming reasons, i want to know the gender of the fish for sure, with me going back and forth on a few names. Can any of you guys help me out with determining the gender of my fish?

We had a thread recently that contained clear, well-focused side-view pics of an adult male guppy, in which a number of members were discussing and arguing and debating over its gender. Probably the easiest species of fish to determine the sex...and there was no agreement.

Good luck with a single overhead pic of an extremely small snakehead in a bucket. Naming it? Francis...Chris...Avery....lots of safe choices.
