I have 4 tanks with Dempseys, jaguar, Motas, and Misc. All 4 tanks yesterday were under going major reconstruction when I got home. I know these fish like to dig and rearrange things but I have never seen this much action by all tanks at the same time. Two of the four tanks our down to glass on the bottom with the corners piled almost to the rim.

pics?

my oscars seem to do that in the spring. sometimes they pile the sand right by the filter and plug it up, good thing i caught it before it killed my filter.

i wish i could concur but my texas is always digging, i mean he digs, i level he digs again, ijust leave it how he likes it.

one of mine was a front also. wonder if a full moon has something to do with it

Was is really a full moon? :):)

Mine dug up a plant and rearranged the rocks, I mean rocks that's >10x heavier than the fish. How it did it was way beyond me...

According to google it was. All of mine dig but nothing of this proportion. I have had one tank set up for 2 years and they have never dug like this.

That's cool. At least you know theyre healthy and strong.

My CA's will push flowerpots around if they aren't in the "right" place! It's mostly my Salvini pair and Nic that will do this, but my Jack has done it too.

i bet if we posted pics of our fish making a disaster in tanks i would win. i cant even see my fish because there are piles of sand in the front of the tank. and holes to the glass everywhere. and just as soon as i fix it and go to bed the next day my fish get to see some chick infront of the tank cursing at them.
