well my cichlids got ick. they are in a 29 gallon tank and they all have it there is 6 of them in the thank and they are still small. should i use melfix or should i use clout to treat them

Clout is really rough, and I am not sure it is a good use on ICK. Nox ick i think its called or very simular is what I would use. But first I would make sure the temp is up and stable, and make sure the fish are comfortable.

ich is usually pretty easy to cure...Melafix won't work and Clout is an awefully strong medication to be using for Ich..I wouldn't recommend it. I have had success with API Super ick cure...but I have only had it on my fish once.

well i put some clout in there in tank last night before everybody replied back. its only one cichlid that has it. it seemed to go away little on the fish but its still there. The water temp is around 76 or so.
Yeah, at least bump up the temp since that will shorten the life cycle of it, what kind of cichlids are they?
there is 3 dwarf chanchitos in the tank. there is a pair and a extra male for my other larger female which she is in another tank. there is 3 other small africans in the tank also. they are too big to put in my fry tank and too small to put in my big tanks
well she must not be too sick she is with the male now and she started to so the flirting thing with him. i also turned up the heater in the tank to about 2 hours ago
