Right now i have
1. Striped peacock eel
2. rubber lip pleco
3. leopard ctenopoma

I love all these except i really would like to see them at their max size. I have only had the ctenopoma for about 1 month and the eel/pleco for about 3-4 now. The eel is about 6.5 inches, the pleco 2 inches and the ctenopoma 1.5 inch. The eel/pleco have grown probably an inch and the ctenopoma maybe a half a cm to a cm. Other than overfeeding which pollutes your water is there anyway to speed the process? Im feeding them quiet a bit right now anyways so i know they are always full.

Growing fish, is all about proper feeding and water changes. Keeping the water extremely clean will cause growth spurts. You might even look at a drip system. The better the water quality, the faster they will grow.

:iagree:

dont expect that leopard ctenopoma to grow very fast. I've had mine for 3 years and hes only grown 2 1/2 -3 " in that time. But hes my favorite fish now.

They will only grow at their top speed when their in there top condition which only happens when the water quality is as good as can be.

Lots of water changes, correct water temp, healthy varied diet
