Hi there, I wanted to ask you about the growth rate of 4 fish, Tarpon, Dorado, ATF and payara. I ask this because I’m going to be moving around for the next 4 years or so and want something that can comfortable live in a 3/4 foot tank during this time, and once I have settled down I will then be able to bring out my old 8 foot tank. And info would help, thanks in advanced!

I have never kept tarpon, but they get four feet long and weigh 100 lbs. unless you are talking about a tarpon I am not familiar with.
I believe they grow pretty slow, but even at slow growth, they would be huge over a time span of four years.
I believe you just need to look at the adult size of the fish, because almost no matter how slow they grow, they should be reaching their adult size over the four years you are going to be moving around.
There are plenty of wild and exotic fish that do not get that big you could keep until you settle down. Just my two cents worth...

I was looking at the sticky care threads and it seems these three species dont get much larger than round 12 inches:
Hydrocynus forskahlii
Hydrolycus tatauaia
Hydrolycus scomberoides

They could be suitable?
