Fish has brown spots near fins

Hey guys my flowerhorn has some brown spots near his pectoral fin.

Is it injury from hitting the filter?


Ive been feeding NLS thera a and hes been getting more active i soak the NLS thera a in vita-chem.

probably no posts because nobody is sure.
maybe take the pic to the best lfs u know, they may have an idea.
i'd keep the water good, add salt and watch to see what happens for a couple of days.

how long has this been there ?
 
It almost looks like small areas of hemorrhage, which could be caused by trauma (eg hitting a filter). It could be a whole variety of other things though.
Can you tell us the size of those spots, how long they have been there, is the area raised or indented, have there been any other physical or behavioral changes, etc.
 
Hes been very active the dots get big as like.... U know when u get a pen and put a dot on paper and it's small. It's that big

As long as he is eating and behaving normally, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Keep an eye on the brown spots to see if they progress to something worse, and monitor the fish for any changes in appetite and behavior.
