I have really enjoyed this African cichlid tank. As you all know, a fish tank is a work-in-progress. Here is what it looks like now. (for now)

This is such an awesome hobby.

Awesome tank/fish and pics! Thanks for sharing!

Nice tank. Nice collection of malawi's you have there. Where all the haps though? Or are you in to peacocks and Mbunas more? At least you have one, thats good.

NICE!

That makes me wish I had not gotten rid of my africans...Oh well....

thanks Honda12, you have always had good insight in your posts.
I have the two peacocks in the tank, however, I can see now, that they are not going to make it much longer in there with all those more aggressive Mbunas. They used to be the big boys of the tank, but no longer the kings. Now I understand how one can end up thousands of gallons in fish tanks. You fall in love with some fish and then you end up having to make room for them in a new tank.

I have no fish peers among my circle of friends, so MosterFishKeepers has been tons of help. You guys are also that little red guy on your shoulder that says "you don't need more food, go out and buy more fish and stuff for the tank."

how old is that hap?
This electric blue ahli is only about 4 months in showing color. He was plain silver when I bought him. ($17) Now he is one of my favorites. My concern is, in reading some of the very informative threads here, is that it has been suggested that Mbuna, haps and peacocks may not be good tank mates. Anyone got any comments on this potential problem for me?
