Can a fish die from obesity/heart attack??

It may be a silly question to some of you but i am concerned with my regal tang. She is approx 5in long and no word of a lie approx 1in(maybe a touch over)wide. She is very fat and i would usually cut back on food intake but if i do that my other fish will starve as she is still quick as a bullet and takes 90% of the food that i put in. Should i be worried or is it ok for her to be this wide? Have had her for three years this weekend and don't look forward to the day that i lose her.

fish obesity can and does lead to issues in fish, as it does humans...

Is the fish pooping properly?? How often do you feed and what do you feed?

It might not be fat from over eating...and can you provide a pic of the fish?

there's a tang at work that's litterally the size and shape of a football..

but in all seriousness obesity does cause health problems.. see/follow reef's advise

She makes it hard to get a decent photo but if these don't help i can try and get more.

With the poop i'm not exactly sure what it is meant to be like, but i guess the best way to describe hers is like an explosion, literally bits of crap everywhere. Usually only see this when she is about to feed.

I feed them New Life spectrum 2 or 3 times a day, each time it is all gone within 20 seconds, and 2 or 3 frozen cubes of mixed mysis and brine. I feed like this everyday.

I'm wondering if maybe dropsy could be partly to blame. Dropsy is a disease within the kidneys of the fish, casing a build up of fluids, leading to bloating. I'm not sure of any direct treatments and have been told its not treatable but if anything were going to work, id say an antibacterial additive in the food would help. thats of course if its dropsy.
