Fish ID - $5 snakehead?

I saw this at my LFS but they couldn't tell me the name, they just told me it was $5 here are some pictures, Im no experte but I think it has some snakehead shape

What is the scientific name for the species you are referring to by the name "common pike". If you are referring to Crenicichla sp. belly crawler which is also sometimes referred to as the common pike, I don't think that is what he has. It looks more like a Crenicichla lepidota or Crenicichla sveni, IMO. It has the crown markings going down his body ;)
