Fish ID help: minnow

Hi Folks,
What do you think this is? From southern Alberta. No spot on the dorsal fin. Mouth cannot open very broad like a typical chub. I am thinking pearl dace, fine scale dace, lake chub. These are so similar.

could be fathead minnow too. Trouble is these species are variable by location as far as I can tell from internet pictures
