Fish ID help please

I believe that red devils turn orange or red related to their ability to produce certain pigments decreasing as they age. Some only stop making black or brown. Others lose even the ability to produce yellow and reds. Either way, he's got a nice Nuchal hump forming already which makes me happy

Appears to have more A. citronellum trates not so much A. Labiatus. The rounded beak like face is more of a citronellum trate. Whether it peals or remains barred is yet to be seen, some do some don't.

I'd love to see him barred or piebald. Regardless, tons of personality and very interactive fish. One of my favorites in the grow out tank for sure. Thanks for the input aquanero, your specificity of the two trait differences confirmed what i thought i was seeing. He will obviously be a mix of amphs as beyond wild caught there is no purity in the citro and labiatus.

Whatever he is, he's fairly pretty. Update the thread when he grows a bit?

It's hard to be certain from the pics but it looks like amphilophus hogaboomeron to me.
