Just looked up Nandus Nandus. Yes, that could be it. The seller said it was some sort of African wolf fish. What a mess.

It’s also known as asian leaf fish too.

I am new to this hobby but I thought it looked somewhat like a cichlid before you all pointed out it was Nandus Nandus / Asian Leaf Fish.

Understandable.
Color pattern is very similar to the African cichlid genus Serranochromis, or even Nimbochromis when young.
They fit into the same kind of predatory niche
