Fish Id? Male or Female?

definitely a Jack Dempsey, i can sex w/ a close up of the face, particularly the area beneath the eyes and cheeks
definitely a JD, and I agree with ehh it's more than likely a male. Too small to tell by the beard/mustache as the fish and face of the fish are a small area, so the blue will appear to be below the jaw line - will have to wait for the fish to get a little larger (~3.5") before being able to sex it that way
