it was in petco a while ago labeled as a target fish if i remember correctly...it is a freshwater fish, about 3in at the time, silver, looked almost like a striped bass...and it was aggressive!

:confused: does it have another name, because it is hard to search for it!

Learn to use google and the search feature. A quick search of "target fish" will give you results. The fish was most likeyl Therapon jarbua. They are a BW to SW sp able to tolerate FW when young.
 
Try Terapon Jaruba.I have had them in the past,active but not agro,if they can be kept alive long enough they get to a nice size,when looked down upon,the markings on the fishes back look like a target,hence the name.I think they are a naturally brackish Australian fish.
