I seen this fish on kijiji too and asked the same question here. It was identified as a Brachyplatystoma Vaillantii. And from what I was told it is extremely rare.

Yes, as stated here http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?590025-Catfish-ID I am thinking vaillantii but I do recommend looking through the thread and its links provided in Mustardtiger's thread.

Its a B.Vallianti for sure and that's a mighty fine specimen

yep thats a very clean looking valliantii a little bit bigger than mine is right now
